JOIN A TASK FORCE
Task Forces provide an opportunity for best practice sharing, networking and subject-focused venues where members can identify challenges and craft solutions. Membership in task forces is both targeted and comprehensive including lenders, foundation representatives, state agency staff, municipal and county community development professionals and local subject experts working in concert with our member-practioners. Agendas focus on problem solving, best practice sharing, peer coaching & support. These forums often develop ideas that feed into the Network’s policy work, lead to proposals to improve member accessibility to and more impactful utilization of state programs, as well as the development of short and long term training. Going forward, Network Task forces will serve as a center of gravity to address implementation challenges in our members’ varied, vital, and comprehensive community revitalization work. We will continue to seek out and bring in experts and practioners from around the country where relevant. Click below for a description of active Task Forces.
Each Task Force and Working Group greatly benefits from the skills, experience, commitment and enthusiasm each of its members bring. The agendas are ever changing and continue to expand.
