This guide identifies and describes major funding sources that are accessible to non-profit housing and community development corporations in New Jersey for community economic development activities, including commercial real estate development, small business development, and workforce development. Community Development Lending in New Jersey: Best and Worst Practices (November 1997)

This paper was developed by Affordable Housing Network staff and members of the Network’s Banking Committee, and is based on a study of Network members’ experiences in obtaining private financing during 1995 and 1996 for their affordable housing projects. Cost: $15 Non-Members.

Results of a survey conducted by the Affordable Housing Network on the recruitment and retention of housing and community development staff in New Jersey is reported in this paper. The survey covers a wide range of information, including staffing patterns, salary and benefits levels, as well as challenges currently facing our membership. Cost: $15 Non-Members.

An Affordable Housing Blueprint for New Jersey (January 1995)

This Blueprint identifies the need for affordable housing, the existing resources and programs, and the gaps and malfunctions in the system. It proposes a housing policy and spells out the programs and funding levels necessary to ensure that residents of New Jersey have affordable, decent and safe housing. Free of Charge.
