Essex and Union County Nonprofit Developers Deliver for Area Economy
Reports to be released shows investment, job creation, and tax revenue brought to
Essex and Union Counties WHAT: The Housing and Community Development Network New Jersey (the Network) and area non-profits, including New Community Corporation (NCC) will unveil employment, housing, and demographic data highlighting the economic impact Essex and Union County nonprofit community developers made on New Jersey’s economy. The local data will be presented as a supplement to the Network’s 2014 Stronger Together report, an analysis of the economic impact of New Jersey’s community development sector since 1989, the year the Network was founded. According to Stronger Together, New Jersey’s nonprofit community development sector generated a total of $12 billion for the state’s economy. WHO: On hand to present the county report:
