AmeriCorps VISTA
The Network has a great opportunity for recent college graduates and graduate students who are interested in economic justice and strengthening NJ communities. We are hiring through the AmeriCorps VISTA program to support more than 200 member organizations who are addressing homelessness, foreclosures and evictions, childhood Lead poisoning, Tenant Rights, and other critical and emerging issues across the Community Development spectrum. Network VISTAs will provide the support and infrastructure that will build their capacity and allow them to better serve the thousands of clients that count on them for vital services.

HUD Certified Housing Specialist
Affordable housing is hard to find in New Jersey, and each year many people find themselves at risk of losing their place of residence. Norwescap’s Housing Support Department helps individuals and families across the spectrum from homelessness services to eviction prevention to homeownership. The Housing Specialist provides direct case management services to these families identifying needs, connecting to available services, and monitoring progress toward thriving over time.

Program Associate, Social Determinants of Health Programs

Reinvestment Fund is currently seeking a Program Associate to join its program team to support the implementation of a number of national and regional Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) programs. The SDoH program team at Reinvestment Fund focuses on the design, implementation, and evaluation of initiatives such as the national Invest Health and the regional Building Healthier, More Equitable Communities (BHEC) in New Jersey initiatives. Invest Health is a pioneering collaboration between Reinvestment Fund and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF). Invest Health was designed to empower multi-sector leaders representing the public, community development, healthcare, finance and other sectors in small to mid-size cities across the country working to improve community health and wellbeing and advance a more equitable community investment system.
