AmeriCorp VISTA
The Network has a great opportunity for recent college graduates and graduate students who are interested in economic justice and strengthening NJ communities. We are hiring through the AmeriCorp VISTA program to support more than 200 member organizations who are addressing homelessness, foreclosures and evictions, childhood Lead poisoning, Tenant Rights, and other critical and emerging issues across the Community Development spectrum. Network VISTAs will provide the support and infrastructure that will build their capacity and allow them to better serve the thousands of clients that count on them for vital services.

Director of Empowerment Programs
NJ Citizen Action
The Director of Empowerment will be responsible for the development, implementation, compliance and completion of all grants and activities related to our direct service work. S/he will oversee a team focused on serving over 20,000 New Jerseyans annually. Our direct service programs currently include health care ACA enrollment, housing counseling, foreclosure prevention, financial education, housing discrimination, oil cooperative, financial coaching, eviction prevention and tax preparation.

Digital Organizer

The Digital Organizer will oversee and execute strategies to increase NJCA’s online presence, network of supporters and service program participants, and build power for NJCA so we can successfully achieve social change for low- and moderate-income families and people of color.

Office Administrator/Bookkeeper

Communications Specialist

NJF seeks an experienced communications professional who is a skilled,
organized, and motivated writer and editor to support the organization’s expanding communications and marketing activities. The communications specialist will work within a collaborative team environment to implement and manage program-specific and general organizational communications plans and strategies. This position will report to the communications manager.
