Under One Roof: The Network's Annual Community Development Conference and Membership Meeting returns to the Hyatt in New Brunswick on Tuesday, October 29! This is NJ's premier gathering of community development practitioners, housing advocates and private sector partners working together to make our state an even better place to live and work for all. 

Full agenda and honorees will be announced in the coming weeks. Here's some of what you can expect at Under One Roof 2024:

  • Workshops on key topics impacting NJ's community development sector such as healthy homes, housing counseling, homelessness prevention, building generational wealth, advocacy and organizing, etc.
  • Sponsorship opportunities with benefits for Network partners and our nonprofit members.
  • The opportunity to hear from experts and leaders in the field.

Award Nominations

We are now accepting award nominations for Under One Roof 2024! Help us highlight the great work that Network members are doing to increase the supply of homes that residents can afford and strengthen our neighborhoods.

OUTSTANDING PROJECT AWARD
The Network seeks nominations to recognize member projects in the following categories:

  • New Development, for creating more affordable home within their communities

  • Neighborhood Revitalization, for revitalizing their communities

  • Healthy Homes and Communities, for effectively addressing widespread issues that impact the health of neighborhoods and residents

  • Innovation, for a project that is out of the ordinary, groundbreaking, or otherwise charting a new path

ADVOCACY & ORGANIZING AWARD
We are also seeking nominations for the Advocacy and Organizing Award which recognizes outstanding achievement in a local advocacy and/or organizing campaign that furthers HCDNNJ’s mission: supporting the creation of affordable homes, economic opportunities, and strong communities.

ELIGIBILTY
Only Network members in good standing will be considered. For the Outstanding Project Award, projects must have been completed within the last twelve months.

Honorees will be recognized on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at the Hyatt in New Brunswick during the Network's Annual Conference and Membership Meeting. Submit your nominations by Friday, August 2.
