Mercer County Nonprofit Developers Deliver for Area Economy
Reports to be released show investment, job creation, and tax revenue brought to Mercer County

WHAT:     The Housing and Community Development Network New Jersey (the Network) and Princeton Community Housing will unveil employment, housing, and demographic data highlighting the economic impact Mercer County nonprofit community developers have made on New Jersey’s economy. The local data will be presented as a supplement to the Network’s 2014 Stronger Together report, an analysis of the economic impact of New Jersey’s community development sector since 1989, the year the Network was founded. According to Stronger Together, New Jersey’s nonprofit community development sector generated a total of $12 billion for the state’s economy.
   
WHO:    On hand to present the county report:
Staci Berger, president and chief executive officer of the Network.
Edward Truscelli, executive director, Princeton Community Housing.
The Honorable Liz Lempert, mayor of Princeton.
State and local officials as well as leaders of regional and local community development and other non-profit and faith based organizations will be in attendance.
Access to report data and interviews with local contacts will be available, by request, to speak with members of the media after the report’s release.
