OVERVIEW:

  • Annual 12 month program
  • One-on-one personal and professional development on housing and community subjects
  • Organizational support and state-wide networking 
  • Participants must be organizational members of the Network in good standing

ELIGIBILITY FOR MENTORS:

  • Senior or executive level positions, or on a board with a leadership position
  • Have a minimum of 10 years' experience in community development
  • Commit to being proactive and engaging coaches for the year

ELIGIBILITY FOR MENTEES:

  • Must be organizational members of the Network in good standing
  • Currently in the community development field with an expressed desire to continue in this sector
  • Have a minimum of two years' experience in community development
  • Must be recommended by an executive level professional in his/her organization
  • Commit to being proactive and engaging participants for the year

Our inaugural Mentor class included these accomplished professionals who shared their experience and expertise with our Rising Leaders: 
Patrick Morrissy, retired, former ED of HANDS; Betsey Hall, retired, former President of Homeless Solutions; Darlene Robinson, PNC Bank; Mark McBride, TD Bank 

FEE: A reimbursable fee of $250 is required from mentees upon contract signing, and will be returned upon successful completion of the program.

TIMELINE: Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
