NJ Assembly Committees Consider Housing
Affordability & Security Issues
Tune in tomorrow for Network testimony

The NJ Assembly will host several hearings tomorrow in which housing affordability issues with be highlighted. The Network will provide testimony at each hearing which will be available for viewing at www.njleg.state.nj.us. The legislative schedule is as follows:

11:30am -- Assembly Community Development and Affairs Committee
Network Director of Policy and Advocacy Matt Hersh will provide testimony on the "Community Wealth Preservation Program" which expands access for low income buyers to purchase property from sheriff's sales.

2pm -- Assembly Housing Committee
Network President and CEO Staci Berger will provide testimony on homelessness and housing insecurity, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on these problems.

2:30pm -- Assembly Aging and Senior Services Committee
Network Senior Policy Advisor Arnold Cohen will testify on the status of senior housing affordability.
