NJ Legislative Day

What You Need to Know
Thank you so much for registering to join us for the Network’s annual NJ Legislative Day! We’re looking forward to seeing you at the State House in Trenton.
- You will begin your day at Cafe NJ located in the basement level of the State House. This will be our base of operations and where you will check in to receive your materials for the day. This is also where breakfast and lunch will be available.
- Limited parking is available at the State House parking garage but there is on-street metered parking in the area as well as parking in several nearby city garages. You can also take NJ Transit to the Trenton Station. For directions and more information on parking and public transporation, please visit: https://njstatehousetours.org/tour/index.php/directions/. THERE IS NO PARKING AVAILABLE AT THE NETWORK OFFICE
- Registration opens at 8:30am and our program kicks off at 9 am. Please allow yourself plenty of time to get to Trenton that morning as it is expected to be a heavy traffic day.
- You will need to go through security to enter the State House so please bring a valid government issued photo id for those over the age of 18. You will not be granted entry without a photo id.
- A continental breakfast will be available to all event participants at the Cafe NJ, and a grab-and-go boxed lunch will be available beginning at 12pm.
- You will receive a HouseNJ t-shirt upon your arrival at the check-in table. We ask that you wear your t-shirt to be identified as a NJ Legislative Day participant. If you already have a HouseNJ t-shirt, please feel free to wear it.
- There will be legislative activities that you can attend throughout the day and around the State House complex including legislative visits and committee meetings. Make sure to wear comfortable, appropriate footwear.
