The Network's mission is to enhance the ability of our members to create and preserve long-term affordable housing and build strong communities in New Jersey.  Download and print membership application or complete an electronic Membership Application.

More than 250 of your colleagues are members of the Network. Our members include:

• Nonprofit affordable housing and community development organizations
• Community organizing agencies
• Other community-based nonprofit organizations
• Technical assistance providers
• Various social service agencies
• Financial institutions

 

We encourage your membership and involvement in the activities of the Network. The Network has four membership categories: (1) Nonprofit Housing and Community Developer Member; (2) Associate Member; (3) Individual and (4) Student. Descriptions of the Nonprofit and Associate membership categories are as follows:

Nonprofit Housing and Community Development Members: Nonprofit organizations involved in or planning housing and community development activities to benefit low- and moderate-income community residents. Entitled to one seat on the Board of Trustees of the Network.

Associate Members: Regional or citywide CDC associations, community development consultants, private financial institutions, public agencies, and other organizations (including other nonprofits) not fitting the above definition, but who support the mission and activities of the Network. Associate members are welcome to attend and participate in Network meetings, but do not have voting privileges unless they have been nominated to, and approved by, the Board of Trustees of the Network.

Annual Dues Contributions (based on the calendar year):

♦  Dues for Non-Profit CDC with  budgets over $1M are $500

♦  Dues for Non-Profit CDC with  budgets under $1M are $250

♦  Dues for Professional/Associate Members with budgets over $1M with are $500

♦  Dues for Professional/Associate Members with budgets under $1M with are $250

♦  Dues for Individual Supporter/Advocate Members are $100

♦  Dues for Student or Young Professional Members are $25

The Executive Board of the Network shall make the final determination in any question or matter concerning eligibility to become either a Non-Profit Housing and Community Developer member or an Associate Member of the Network.
